The Met Gala: My Favorite Looks

image

The Met Gala really is fashion’s biggest night. This year’s theme was Manus X Machina. Everyone delivered with silver, shimmering outfits and gowns.  With so many great looks, it was hard to choose my favorites!

Taylor Swift kept it playful, yet mechanic in this Louis Vuitton dress. Complete with wrap heels and platinum blond hair, her look was definitely in theme.

Lupita Nyong’o looked gorgeous in this green Calvin Klein dress. The light shimmer and her tower of buns took this look from modern to futuristic.

Amber Heard looked absolutely regal in this Ralph Lauren gown. While not with the theme, I couldn’t help but love this look. I think I need those golden heels!

Kendall Jenner is my biggest style icon and you can see why! She is smokin’ in this Versace dress. She continues to show that she is her own personality by breaking away from her family’s love for Balmain.

Katy Perry looks like a dark queen in this Prada gown. My favorite thing about dress is the green velvet. It really adds some color to a very dark look.

Nicole Kidman looked magical in this Alexander McQueen dress! Topped with a tiara, she looked every bit the mystical princess she is. The sequin moons really made this look for me.

My favorite look by far was Jourdan Dunn in Balmain! Looking like an otherworldly goddess, she fit this year’s theme perfectly. The silver sequins make this gown look robatic, without going over the top. It was the perfect mix of formal and costume.
